It is a nonsurgical procedure, a specific way that utilizes a man’s own PRP (Plasma Rich Platelets) which are injected into penis. Growth Factors (GF) and Stem Cells derived from a man’s own PRP stimulate penile tissue rejuvenation to improve the health of the penis.
The name Priapus Shot® (P-Shot®) is protected by US Patent & Trademark law and only physicians who are members of P-Shot® group are licensed to use the name.

Most regular Doctors stay silent about Sex problems… (Remember, better sex leads to more energy, more creativity, increased confidence, less depression and improved overall health)
The reason may be that there are few proven treatment options. Both physician and patient would be discouraged by discussing a problem for which there is no proven solution-so most of the doctors just do not ask.
Q: Where is the injection put?
A: Directly into the corpus cavernosum with a small needle, and into the head of the penis, similar to the way Trimix injections are used for erectile dysfunction.
Q: Will it cause scar tissue?
A: If we look at men who inject 3 to 5 times weekly over many years for treatment for erectile dysfunction, there is a 10% incidence of scar tissue formation. This is with multiple injections for many years. With P-Shot®, there is only one injection, so the chances of scar tissue formation should be minimal if at all. (There has not been report of any fibrosis or scar tissue formation of injections in the face, breasts, O-Shot® and P-Shot®).
Q: Will it help with Peyronie’s Disease?
A: Peyronie’s disease penis problem caused by scar tissue, called plaque, that forms inside the penis. It can result in a bent, rather than straight, erect penis. Most men with Peyronie’s disease can still have sex, but for some, it can be painful and cause erectile dysfunction.
And it can cause depression and social isolation. P-Shot could help with the decrease of the plaque.
Q: will it help with penile Lichen Sclerosus?
A: it could help to decrease or resolve of the condition.
Q: I did some research and most people say it takes 3 weeks to notice results, however you said you saw results immediately. Please explain. Could it be that everyone reacts differently to P-Shot®?
A: Initial volume is from the combination of the platelets and the serum (water) in the blood, plus all the growth factors in the serum that the activated platelets are starting to release.
Over the next 3 days, some of the serum (water) is absorbed by the body. Then there is the growth of new tissue that continues for at least 12 weeks, bringing volume back up to close to where it was with the initial injection.
Q: How much growth can I expect?
A: 10-20% increase in length and girth. Girth comes first (with the injection), then length (with continued growth). Smokers have the least amount of growth.
Q: Will my insurance cover the procedure? A: Insurances do not cover the procedure.
Q: What about P Wave (Acoustic Wave Therapy)?
A: For best result, especially for men who have diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, chronic smoker, and other vascular issues, prior & after P Shot, and with & without P Shot, we highly suggest patients to do P Wave treatment (Acoustic
Wave Therapy). We offer the best Acoustic Wave Therapy System: Apex Magnum, which uses dual technology of Electromagnetic and Pneumatic Shock Wave.
P Wave (Acoustic Wave Therapy) Effects (a painless procedure)
-short term effect: increase of blood flow by vasodilation
-long term effect: improvement of blood flow caused by formation of new blood vessels(angiogenesis)
-lymphatic drainage effect, drainage and washout of toxins
-relaxation of fibrotic structures (septum)
-strengthening of the connective tissue leads to an improvement in elasticity and firmness of the tissue
Q: Does P Shot hurt?
A: Strong local anesthesia medicine is applied to the penis, or if preferred a dorsal penile nerve block. Either way the pain is similar to a normal small needle shot to the arm.
For patients who are so afraid of even minor pain, we offer PRO-NOX for immediate relief of pain and anxiety, and patient then will be able to drive themselves home, and will be fully aware.
During the past few years, some of Dr. Davis’ patients have said that they want to have the office procedures Dr. Davis offered done, but they are so afraid of even minor pain. That is why Dr. Davis has made the decision to bring PRO-NOX™ into her practice.
PRO-NOX™ is a pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to adult and pediatric patients for the relief of pain and anxiety during their office procedures. (dentists have been using it for dental procedures for many years). It is
patient-controlled Inhaled Analgesia for In-Office Use and takes effect in seconds, offering immediate relief of pain and anxiety. It is ideal for aesthetic effort for office procedures. Portable, and easy to use while decreasing the risk of infection, many doctor practices in the United States are choosing the PRO-NOX™ Nitrous Oxide System.
This device will allow more patients to undergo office procedures under local anesthesia with minimal awareness. The purpose of the device is to make local office procedures more comfortable and safer, while allowing the patient to see optimal results.
PRO-NOX™ is administered by the patient, and works to decrease pain, anxiety, and awareness during the procedure. Following the procedure, the patient will be able to drive themselves home, and will be fully aware. This device will allow for more office procedures under local anesthesia and will allow for increased patient comfort.
PRO-NOX™ can be used for many office treatments and procedures, including P Shot, O shot, Vampire Face, Vampire Face Lift, Vampire Breast Lift, Vampire Hair, Vampire hair, Hair restoration, permanent makeup, tattoo removal, Botox and fillers, Thread Lift for Face and Body, lasers, and more.
Strong numbing cream is applied to the penis and the arm. The blood is drawn from the arm, just as it would be for a routine blood test. Then using a centrifuge and FDA approved kit, platelet rich plasma (PRP) is isolated. Calcium chloride is added to PRP, which triggers the platelets to release different growth factors (GF) that then trigger our own stem cells to grow new and younger tissue. The PRP is injected into the penis. The whole process takes about 30 minutes, the actual injection process takes less than 5 minutes.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is essentially an increased concentration of autologous (your own) platelets suspended in a small amount of plasma after centrifugation. Patient’s blood is collected and centrifuged until it is separated into 3 layers: platelet poor plasma (PPP), PRP, and red blood cells.
In our center we use 2 spins method (which is one of the best methods to obtain PRP) by separating PRP (Plasma Rich Plasma) from PPP (Plasma Poor Plasma). 1st spin separates PPP from red fraction and PRP. 2nd spin separates the red fraction from PRP.
Platelets play a fundamental role in hemostasis and are a natural source of growth factors (GF). GF include: platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin like growth factor (IGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), platelet derived angiogenic factor (PDAF), and transforming growth factor beta (TGF), etc. In addition to growth factors, platelets release numerous other substances, e.g.: fibronectin, vitronectin, sphingosine, 1-phosphate, etc.
PRP stimulates wound healing and tissue regeneration, decreases scar formation, and shortens healing time by involving in key stages including chemotaxis, migration, proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, osteogenesis, and collagen synthesis, etc.
Biopsy studies show that when PRP is injected, stem cells multiply and grow new, younger tissue.
PRP has been used for more than 20 years by professional athletes and has been used clinically by orthopedic surgeons, dentists, and wound care centers, etc. There has never even been one serious reaction to PRP prepared by an FDA approved kit in any part of the body.
