What is IV NAD+ Therapy:

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring co-enzyme of niacin that helps cells in our body producing energy, IV NAD+ Therapy (Intravenous drip of NAD+) is placing NAD+ in an IV and slowly dripped into the blood stream. This allows the substance to bypass the stomach (where analgesic medication breaks down) and travel directly to the brain. This provides the individual with a boost of energy, providing enhanced mood and awareness, as the energy they get is now from their natural sources, not other substances.

IV NAD+ therapy is a treatment helps the brain quickly be restored to its nature, healthy stats. It is a natural, restorative, and protective therapy to give people a better chance to live a sober and pain free life. It is a nutritionally based treatment for Addictions, Post Traumatic Stress, Chronic Stress/Fatigue, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), and Neurodegenerative Diseases like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. We use a detoxification and brain restoration protocol, which in addition to IV NAD+, also includes amino acids and metabolites of vitamins. Research, which began in the 1960’s and continues to this day, has demonstrated effectiveness in this protocol, with a 90% success rate.

What happens after IV NAD+ Therapy:

Typically, patients no longer suffer from the physical symptoms of their multiple addictions, alcoholism, chronic stress and stress from depression and anxiety. Most importantly, they are able to kick their addictions without the agony of intense withdrawal or incessant cravings that are the primary cause of relapse. And with a variety of aftercare therapies, full recovery and wellness are expected, depending on the person.

IV NAD+ Therapy Procedure:

10 to 15 days, depending on each individual’s medical condition.

Treatment is on an outpatient basis.

The first step is an intake assessment. The patient’s medical history is taken, current blood tests are reviewed, and a treatment plan can be formulated.

Each day IV infusion can take 4 to 8 hours depending on each individual’s bodily response and needs.

We also offer infra-red heat and PEMF therapies, AWT (Acoustic wave detox therapy) and Glutathione and Nutrition IVs.

How does IV NAD+ Therapy help with Addiction and Is it a Cure?

Addiction is a chronic neurologic disease. IV NAD+ helps to restore the altered neurologic and brain chemistry to break the addiction. IV NAD+ helps reduce cravings, stabilize moods, increase energy, improve focus and concentration, and restore the clarity of the mind. There is no FDA approved “cure” for addiction. Since NAD+ itself can’t be patented, there most likely won’t be extensive studies, and IV NAD+ treatment is not supported by insurance companies. But IV NAD+ has been used since the late 1960s to significantly decrease withdrawal from a variety of drugs and alcohol.

In 2013 David Sinclair, PhD, professor of genetics at Harvard medical School, scored a big new splash when he took a group of old mice and restored the mitochondria in their muscles to a youthful state after injecting them with a molecule that boosted levels of NAD+.

AD, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a naturally occurring co-enzyme of niacin that helps cells in our bodies produce energy. It does so by converting the energy we get from food into cellular energy. Administering lab-produced NAD will boost the levels of the chemical in someone’s body, but they will need to be administered more to sustain that level. NAD therapy can assist with brain function, DNA repair, and repair signals between molecules for cellular communication.

The nicotinamide adenosine dinucleotide (NAD) molecule has two forms: NAD+, the reduced (active) form of the molecule, and NADH, the oxidized (inactive) form.

Energy production, production of ATP in our mitochondria, totally depends on NADH (the inactive form) being recycled back to NAD+ (the active form). If this recycling stops, then NADH accumulates the cell runs out of energy and it may die. So depleted levels of NAD+ and accumulation of NADH, or a low ratio of NAD+/NADH, can create problems for our mitochondria and our cells, due to low levels of cellular energy. And it is one of the primary contributing factors of mitochondrial dysfunction, which is implicated in a wide variety of chronic illnesses including neuropsychological and neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, and many others.

Restoring NAD+ levels reverse this and allow cells to return to full energy status, offering a possible way to undo the resulting chronic illness.
