FACIAL THREAD LIFT

The thread lift involves the implantation of fine, absorbable polydioxanone threads (similar to those used in medical suturing) into the subcutaneous layer of the skin using small needles.  This produces cellular renewal through collagen stimulation and neovascularisation to improve skin texture, fine lines and elasticity.  Skin is tightened by contracting fat tissue.

Thread lifts were meant to address sagging underlying tissues of the cheek and jaw line by threading barbed sutures into skin and deeper soft tissue.  The non-absorbable threads stay within the deep tissues and provide support.
